TrackCast allows you to stream matches from your Trackwrestling tournament for viewers to watch live. Setting up your broadcast involves preparing your venue and equipment, configuring your event and video streams, and setting up each matside computer for streaming. Start preparing early since video streams must be requested at least 7 days before your event.

Before you set up TrackCast

Before configuring your event, make sure your venue and equipment meet the requirements for streaming.

Set up TrackCast for your event

Complete the following tasks before your tournament:

  1. Order your event.
  2. Turn on TrackCast.
  3. Add your event schedule. Your event schedule tells viewers when your event is expected to be live.
  4. Complete the TrackCast Questionnaire. This gives the Trackwrestling support team the information needed to prepare for your video streams.
  5. Request your video streams. Submit your stream request at least 7 days before your event.
  6. Share the direct link to your event.
  7. Install the TrackCast software on each matside computer.
  8. Start the TrackCast software on each matside computer and begin streaming.
  9. Check your streams to make sure they are working as expected.

Get ready for event-day streaming support

Once you've ordered your event and completed the TrackCast setup, you'll receive an invitation to join a Slack channel for direct support from the Flo Stream Management (FSM) team. Follow the instructions in the invitation to join the channel.

On the day of your event, a dedicated support thread will be created so you can communicate with FSM technicians in real time.

Test before your event

Plan to test your streaming setup at least one day before your event. Testing early gives you time to identify and address potential streaming or equipment issues before competition begins.

If a testing thread is not automatically created for you in Slack, request one in your support channel. For example:

“FSM, we'll be testing for the [Event Name] today at [Time and Time Zone].”
