Tournament scoring settings determine how placement, bye, and advancement points contribute to team scores. If your tournament uses NFHS scoring guidelines, configure each scoring category so points are awarded according to those guidelines. The settings below cover placement points, activity points for byes, and advancement points.

Set Placement Points

Configure the placement point values based on the number of places scored:

  • Place 4: Enter 14,10,7,4.
  • Place 6: Enter 16,12,9,7,5,3.
  • Place 8: Enter 16,12,9,7,5,3,2,1.

Set Activity Points for Byes

Configure how points are awarded when a wrestler receives a bye:

  1. Set Bye to 0 points.
  2. Set the dropdown to Award bye points to a wrestler ONLY if he/she wins their next match.

Set Advancement Points

Set the advancement points dropdown to Award advancement points to a wrestler ONLY if he/she wins their next match.
