Trackwrestling's pre-registration system is separate from the tournament management system. After wrestlers register through pre-registration, import their registration information into your tournament so you can manage them as tournament participants.

Import pre-registered wrestlers
- Log in to your event as an administrator.
- Go to Registration > Importing/Uploading > Wrestlers from Pre-Registration. You can also open this page from the left menu by selecting Registration > Pre-Registration.
- Review the field mappings displayed on the import page. Each column maps a field from pre-registration to a field in your tournament. The left dropdown shows the pre-registration field, and the right dropdown shows the corresponding tournament field.
- If you added custom data fields to pre-registration, make sure each additional field maps to the correct tournament field.
- Choose your import type:
- Insert: Imports wrestlers into the tournament for the first time. This is typically done after pre-registration closes, but you can run the import multiple times. Previously imported wrestlers will not be duplicated.
- Update: Updates information for wrestlers who have already been imported, such as their team or actual weight. Using Update returns the participant's applicable information to what was entered during pre-registration.
- Select the groups you want to import.
- At the bottom of the page, choose whether to import paid registrants, unpaid registrants, or both.
- Click Import Data.
Important:
The default field mappings normally should not be changed unless you added data fields to pre-registration. If you created additional fields, verify their mappings before importing your wrestlers.
