The steps below will walk you through how to set up text alerts so that you don’t miss any of the action.
1. From the FloWrestling home page, click on the Schedule tab in the black navigation bar at the top of the page.
2. Click on the name of your event from the event list or use the Search box to look it up.
3. On the Event Hub page, you will see a list of options on the left. Click on Teams or My Wrestlers.
4. If you click on Teams, you will be shown a list of teams. Click on the Team to open, and you will be shown the roster for that team.
5. Click on the Bell Icon on the right, and a side menu will open, allowing you to select the alert type.
- Follow on Bracket will highlight the selected wrestler on the bracket, allowing you to easily see and follow your wrestler as they progress through the bracket.
- Get Alerts will allow you to select either Mat Assignments, Results, or both.
6. If you are selecting Alerts, you will check the box for the type of alert you would like to receive and then select whether you would like text or email alerts. Enter the information for the selected type and then click Save.
7. Once you have selected a wrestler from the teams page, you can click on My Wrestlers, and you will see a list of wrestlers that you are following for that event. Click on the bell icon to update or add alerts, click on the weight class to be taken to the bracket, or if you would like to not follow that wrestler, click on the trash can icon to delete them from the list.
8. You can also add wrestlers by clicking on Add Wrestlers in the top right corner of the page.
- Click on a team and the roster will open, allowing you to check the athletes you would like to follow. This will add the wrestler to your My Wrestler list and allow you to go in and set up alerts.
Please note that some event settings may not allow for alerts. Each event director chooses their settings and how to run the event. Alerts can only be sent if live data is entered by the event.
