ETS BASE INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place the clock on the stand and don't connect power or any other cables.
  2. Remove 3 X 7/16" aluminum acorn nuts and washers from the top of the clock.
  3. Rotate the clock so the panel facing you also has the upgrade bays facing you.
  4. Set the lid offset from the panels so you can slide them up and out.
  5. Remove clear panel.
  6. Remove display circuit cards.
  7. This should give you clear access to the upgrade bays of the clock.
  8. Bolt the transmitter to the exterior-most bay with the circuit board facing outwards.
  9. With one of the removed power cords from the panels, plug it into the power outlet.
  10. Use the 6-pin jumper cable provided with the card and plug into the power out, then the other end goes to the panel where the original cable was from (power basically passes through this card, then back to the panel).
  11. Unplug the buzzer from the control board.
  12. Plug the buzzer into the buzz-out plug.
  13. Use the 5-pin jumper cable provided to plug between the control board buzzer output and the buzz input on the ETS base card.
