A reliable internet connection is essential for sending live video from your matside computers to Trackwrestling. Each matside computer requires sufficient upload speed and network access to communicate with the Trackwrestling streaming servers. Use the requirements in this article to prepare your venue for streaming.
Internet connection requirements
Streaming requires a clean, hard-line internet connection that can be run to each matside computer.
The line dedicated to live streaming should not have firewalls, restrictions, or blockers that prevent the required streaming connections.
Each matside computer requires 2.5 Mbps of upload speed. For example:
- 4 mats: At least 10 Mbps upload speed
- 10 mats: At least 25 Mbps upload speed
When planning your connection, multiply the number of matside computers by 2.5 Mbps to determine the required upload speed.
Trackwrestling website access
The computers need access to:
Remote access
Trackwrestling uses TeamViewer remote management software to access computers and configure them for streaming remotely.
TeamViewer can be downloaded from:
Video server and port requirements
Video streams are sent on port 1935 to one of the following Trackcast video servers:
- trackcast1.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast2.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast3.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast4.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast5.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast6.trackwrestling.com
- trackcast7.trackwrestling.com
Trackwrestling also sends commands to these servers on ports 4040 and 8080 to manage the video setup.
Make sure your venue's network allows the matside computers to communicate with these domains and ports.
Connect your matside computers
In most venues, you can run a single Ethernet connection to a network switch and create a small local network for the matside computers. All video streams can then be sent through that connection.
You can also connect each matside computer directly to the venue's network, as long as each computer has the network permissions required to send streams to the Trackcast domains and ports listed above.
