You can customize bracket templates by creating a custom template. Custom templates let you add participant information, logos, watermarks, and other formatting without changing the default bracket template.

Important: The default bracket template cannot be modified. Any custom code, logos, or watermarks must be added to a custom template.

Create a Custom Bracket Template

  1. Go to Bracketing > Bracket Types.
  2. Select the Gear icon next to the bracket type you want to customize.
  3. Click Add Custom Template.
  4. Copy the attribute code you want from the Codes section.
  5. Paste the code into either the Full Lines or Half Lines field.
  6. Click Save.

Add a Logo or Watermark

  1. Go to Bracketing > Bracket Types.
  2. Select the Gear icon next to the bracket type.
  3. Click Add HTML.
  4. Paste the following HTML into the text box:

  1. Upload your logo and copy its URL.
  2. Replace paste-url-here with the logo URL.
  3. Adjust the following values as needed:
    • Opacity to control how light or dark the image appears.
    • Width and Height to change the image size.
  4. Enter 12 for the Font Size.
  5. Adjust Horizontal Align and Vertical Align to position the image.
  6. Click Add.
  7. In the gray HTML list, select the Draw Order number.
  8. Enter 101 and select OK.
  9. Refresh the page.
  10. Select View Sample to preview the customized bracket.

Full Lines vs. Half Lines

Full Lines

Full Lines display the first-round matches and typically contain more participant information.

Half Lines

Half Lines display later bracket connections and typically contain less participant information.

Using Codes

Codes insert participant information onto the bracket.

Example:

  • First Name: [firstName:10]
  • Seed: [seed:4]

The number after the colon determines the maximum number of characters displayed.

You can arrange codes in the Full Lines and Half Lines fields in any order.

Print a Custom Bracket Template

  1. Go to Operating > Printing > Brackets.
  2. Select your custom template from the Print Chart list.
  3. Select the brackets you want to print.
  4. Click Print.
