The Mat Assignment Display gives wrestlers, coaches, event staff, and spectators an easy way to follow what’s happening on each mat. Matches are color-coded so everyone can quickly see what’s currently wrestling, what’s on deck, and what’s coming up.

You can customize the display to show the bout information that matters most for your tournament, filter which mats appear, and add banners for results, team scores, and announcements.

Access the Mat Assignment Display

  1. Log in to your tournament as an Administrator.
  2. Open the Operating menu.
  3. Select Mat Assignment Display.

Configure the Display Layout

Choose how you want bouts organized on the display:

  1. Under Presets & Layout, leave Tournament Default selected or choose Custom Column Layout to customize the information shown.
  2. Set Column Count to 1 for a standard single-column view.
  3. Choose how to Sort By:
    • Bout Number: Displays bouts in bout number order.
    • Mat: Organizes bouts by mat number.
    • On-Deck Status: Shows active matches first, followed by on-deck and upcoming matches.
  4. Set Mat Limit to No Limit to show the full assignment depth configured for your tournament.

Choose What Bout Information to Show

Customize what wrestlers, coaches, and spectators see for each bout:

  1. Set Upcoming Status Opacity to 50%, or adjust it based on your display preference.
  2. Turn on Wrestler Colors to display wrestler names using their red or green corner designation.
  3. Select the information you want displayed for each bout.
  4. Adjust the character limits for each field as needed.

Available information can include:

  • Mat
  • Bout Number
  • Weight Class
  • Wrestler 1
  • Wrestler 2
  • Team
  • Division
  • Round/Bout Type
  • Seed

Understand the Match Colors

The display uses colors to help everyone quickly understand where each match is in the lineup:

  • Green: The match is currently on the mat.
  • Yellow: The match is on deck.
  • White: The match is assigned to the mat but is not yet on deck.

Once a result is entered, the completed match is automatically removed from the display.

Add Banners to the Display

You can add scrolling information to help keep everyone at the tournament informed.

Available banners include:

  • Recent Results
  • Team Scores
  • Announcements

For each banner, adjust the available options such as font size, scrolling speed, and vertical position. If you're using multiple banners, adjust their vertical positions so they can appear along the top of the display without overlapping.

Configure Advanced Display Settings

Use the advanced settings to control what appears on the display and how often it updates:

  1. Under Mats & Groups Filter, select All Mats or choose specific mats and groups.
  2. If your tournament uses multiple areas or gyms, use the filters to create displays for different sets of mats.
  3. Set the page refresh interval. A 30-second refresh rate is recommended.
  4. If you're using banners, adjust the top margin so they don't overlap the bout listings. Depending on your setup, you may need a top margin of approximately 75 pixels.
  5. Turn Test Display on to preview your layout with sample data.
  6. Turn Test Display off before using the display for your live tournament.
  7. Choose Dark Mode or Light Mode based on your screen and viewing environment.

Save and View Your Display

Once everything looks the way you want:

  • Select Save to save the configuration for future visits.
  • Select View to open the Mat Assignment Display on the screen or monitor you'll use during the tournament.

Important

When you select View, you may see a message explaining that clock and score information is only available when using electronic bout sheets with a local server. Select OK to continue.

You can still use the Mat Assignment Display to show mat assignments without this setup. Live clock and score information will not appear unless you are using a local server.
