Copying your tournament to the testing site lets you safely test brackets, settings, and workflows without affecting your live event. If the copy process fails, it's often caused by special characters in the tournament information. Follow the steps below to resolve the most common issue.
Remove Special Characters
- Log in to your tournament as an administrator.
- Go to Setup > Settings.
- Locate the Additional Tournament Information field.
- Remove any special characters that appear at the beginning or end of the text.
- Click Save Tournament Info.
- Return to Setup > Import Settings.
- Try copying the tournament to the testing site again.
If You See a Blank White Screen
If you're using a browser other than Google Chrome, you may see a blank white screen instead of being redirected to the testing site.
In many cases, the tournament has been copied successfully. Try opening the testing site directly by typing staging.trackwrestling.com in the address bar and searching for your event.
Google Chrome is the recommended browser for Trackwrestling.
