Before you can stream your tournament, you need to create or select a Live Event and request video streams for your mats. The Live Event determines how your event appears on FloSports, while the mat streams provide the individual streams used during competition.
Set up your Live Event
Start by creating the Live Event that will be associated with your tournament.
1. Log in to your event.
2. Go to Setup > Video Streams.
3. Click Live Event.
4. Select NEW to the right of the Live Event dropdown.
5. Enter the Event Name. This is the name that will be displayed for the event on FloSports.
6. Enter the Start Time and complete the remaining information on the form.
7. Save your Live Event.
Link multiple Trackwrestling events to one Live Event
If you have multiple Trackwrestling events that should appear under the same Live Event on FloSports, connect each Trackwrestling event to the Live Event you created.
- Log in to another Trackwrestling event that should be included.
- Go to Setup > Video Streams > Live Event.
- Open the Live Event dropdown.
- Select the Live Event you created.
- Click Save.
- Repeat these steps for each Trackwrestling event that should be linked.
When your events are connected to the same Live Event, you do not need to reassign the broadcast settings when switching a mat from one Trackwrestling event to another.
Request your tournament streams
Add your tournament mats before requesting video streams so Trackwrestling knows how many mats your event will use.
- Log in to your event.
- Go to Setup > Video Streams.
- Click Add Mat Streams to create streams for the mats already added to your event.
If you need to create an individual stream manually, use Add Mat Stream instead.
When to request your streams
Request your video streams at least seven days before your event to allow time for approval.
Video stream requests are approved daily, Monday through Friday. After your streams are approved, a video server will be added and your streams will be ready for use.
