Number schemes help keep matches organized and moving efficiently by creating a clear bout numbering sequence for each mat. When brackets are assigned to specific mats, you can create a number scheme for each mat and choose where its bout numbers begin. Follow the steps below to set up your mat number schemes, or watch the video for a visual walkthrough of the process.

Set Up Mat Number Schemes

1. Click Setup > Number Schemes.
2. Click Add Mat Schemes.
3. Type Add and click OK.
4. A number scheme will be added for each mat in your tournament.
5. To change where a mat's bout numbers begin, click the number under the Start At column.
6. Enter the starting bout number you want to use for that mat.
7. Repeat as needed for the remaining mats.

Tip

A recommended numbering pattern is to start Mat 1 at 101, Mat 2 at 201, and continue the same pattern for additional mats. This ensures that each bout as a unique number and makes it eaiser to find when needed.
