Previewing your TrackCast streams before your event helps confirm that each stream is connected and sending video correctly. The preview is not a real-time view of your stream. It plays a short video clip that you can use to check the basic connection and verify that video is coming through. Before checking your streams, make sure they have been started through OBS Studio. Preview your video streams
- Log in to your event as an administrator.
- Go to Setup > Video Streams.
- Select the checkbox next to each stream you want to check. You can select all streams if you want to preview each one.
- Click Preview Streams.
- In the preview window, set Type to Playback (live).
- Adjust the remaining preview settings as needed.
- Play the preview for each stream you want to check.
Note:
Playback (live) needs to be selected for Type to play the stream preview. The other preview settings can be customized based on what you want to check.
Remember, the preview is a recorded clip rather than a real-time video feed. Use it to confirm that your basic streaming connection is working and video is reaching Trackwrestling.
